NC Zoo solar arrayThis solar array which Rick helped to install, is located at the NC Zoo in Asheboro. Rated at nearly 108 kilowatts and comprised of more than 600 solar photovoltaic panels, it is grid-tied to Randolph Electric Coop. For a short period of time it was the largest solar array in North Carolina.
